We were called to a mid-terrace property in Gidea Park, Romford, where the owner had a wood burning stove that hadn’t been swept for over twelve months. On arrival the hearth was protected with a dustsheet and a smoke draw test carried out to confirm the flue was drawing correctly before work began.
The correct brush size was fitted to the rods and worked through the full length of the 125mm liner from the stove collar to the chimney pot, clearing accumulated soot and debris back down into the stove. An industrial vacuum removed all residue, leaving the hearth clean. A final smoke draw test confirmed the flue was clear and drawing correctly.
A NACS certificate of sweeping was issued to the homeowner on completion. Allchimneys provide NACS registered chimney sweeping across Romford, Gidea Park, Hornchurch, Upminster and the surrounding Havering and Essex area.
