This project involved the design and installation of a multiple-run external twin wall insulated flue system for a commercial building in London. The installation required several large-diameter stainless steel flue runs to be mounted on a purpose-built structural support frame at roof level — each correctly spaced, bracketed and terminated to manufacturer specification and in accordance with BS EN 1443.
External twin wall systems of this type are specified where multiple commercial boilers share a common flue arrangement, or where no suitable internal flue route exists within the building structure. The insulated twin wall construction maintains correct flue gas temperature regardless of external conditions, ensuring efficient combustion and compliance with current regulations.
