Allchimneys is a specialist chimney and flue company covering commercial and domestic clients across London, Essex, Kent and the wider South East — from commercial boiler flue installation and lightning protection to chimney sweeping, lining and stove installation for homeowners. A Three-Generation Trade

Allchimneys was founded by Craig Hunter — but the story starts a generation earlier.

Craig’s father Roger was a steeplejack, and Craig began learning the trade from him at 17. Over the following decades, Craig, his father and his brother worked on thousands of chimneys across the country, taking on everything from domestic flue repairs to large industrial chimney structures and heritage steeplejack projects — including the gilding of weather vanes at the Tower of London.

That background is rare. Most chimney companies are built on a short apprenticeship and a van. Allchimneys is built on over 35 years of accumulated family knowledge, passed down through three generations who have made working at height and understanding flue systems their life’s work.

HETAS Registered — Solid Fuel Appliance Installation

Our team is fully approved by HETAS — the official body recognised by the government to approve solid fuel domestic heating appliances and associated chimney works. HETAS registration means we can self-certify every stove installation through the HETAS competent persons scheme, without requiring a separate Building Control application. This makes the process simpler and faster for homeowners, while ensuring full compliance with building regulations.

Allchimneys are also trained and registered with NACS (National Association of Chimney Sweeps) and provide a fully insured and certified chimney sweeping service.
